| Design Description: |
The Glistening
Oak Leaf Invitation was a custom creation for a
family member.
Upon consultation, the couple
loved the White Cup Shell Invitation, but since
theirs was an autumn wedding, they wanted a dimensional
invite with a wrap and some type of a fall accent.
Melissa showed them
these amazing beads, and it was love at first sight.
Melissa then created the actual letterpress oak
leaf motif to coordinate with the bead accents.
The invitation is assembled with a thin [golden]
vellum layer on top of the [single panel] letterpress
invitation.
A glistening golden handmade paper wrap is then
placed around the belly of the invite. The cord
+ dangling handmade oak leaf bead secure the layers
together [VIEW 1].
Enclosures
are tucked beneath the invite. The
assembled invite is then placed inside an oatmeal
colored
box, on
an
walnut
layer
of
tissue
paper.
The
tissue
paper is then folded over (much the way you would
gift box wrap a clothing article). The lid is
added and the box secured closed with waxed cord
and
a Guest Tag [VIEW 6]. Inside the tag, you write
the name(s) of your guest(s) - see [VIEW 6 +7].
The
tag acts
as an
inner envelope, where you write the name of the
people invited. This is especially helpful when
inviting (or not inviting) the children of guests.
The oatmeal box [View 7] is then placed inside
a padded envelope for mailing. |

Customization of any
invitation design is always possible and welcome.
By adding your own flare you help create an original
work of art your guests will not only talk about,
but keep as mementoes. Customization includes paper
color, font color, actual fonts used, cord color,
leaf color, different design layout, etc. |

pricing, below, assumes you will be ordering
AT LEAST TWO DIFFERENT PRINTED CARD TYPES,
such as [invite and RSVP card & envelope],

LIGHTEN YOUR "WORK" WITH
MINIMAL ASSEMBLY
If you’d like Melissa to assemble everything
into each invitation box and then ship to you for final
assembly and mailing, there will be an extra fee of
$1.25 per invite. You will need to add the guest tag
+ cord on the outside of the box, place it inside the
padded envelope, add postage & mailing label. Mail
at YOUR local Post Office.
NOTE: RSVP postage is
NOT included in the $1.25.

Melissa can also completely assemble and mail the invites
to your guests directly from her local US Post Office.
To assemble and mail to each guest the fee is $2.50
per invite, as Melissa can completely assemble about
15 invites an hour, so approximately 4 minutes per
invite. She will send you the guest tags for personalization
prior to her mailing the invites to your guests.
NOTE: RSVP and invite
mailing postage are NOT included in the
$2.50.
