| Design Description: |
Rustic yet refined,
this three-layered three dimensional Starfish
Invitation echoes BEACH!
Melissa selected a dark aqua hand-dyed silk ribbon
to wrap around the transparent vellum belly wrap.
On top of that raffia is tied and trimmed into
a "sprayed" circle. The WHITE starfish
is hot glued on top for a stellar presentation
sure to
WOW your
beach
destined guests. All items are letterpress printed.
The invitation arrives to you assembled as
in the photo [VIEW 1]. This
invite is also available as a SAND DOLLAR Invite.
This is a three layered invitation design, as
first the text layer is adhered to a Shimmer Aqua
layer [105# cover
stock], which is slightly larger than the text
layer.
Next,
the two combined layers are adhered to the third
(bottom) layer, the Chocolate Shimmer [105# cover
stock] paper. The invitation
itself is letterpress printed on a 110# textured
cover stock which holds letterpress beautifully
[Views 5 + 6]. The Shimmer Aqua layer helps to "POP"
the cursive Aqua/Tiffany
Blue of the text and Starfish design. Alternatively,
you may choose to not print the starfish motif
and add more text.
The invitation is assembled with the enclosures
tucked beneath. All are placed inside a White (or
Brown Kraft) invitation box, on a light aqua-colored
layer of tissue
paper.
The tissue paper is then folded over (much the
way you would gift box wrap a clothing article)
- see [VIEW 2]. The lid is added and the box secured
closed with waxed cord and a Guest Tag
[VIEW 9]. Inside
the tag, you write the name(s) of your guest(s).
The tag acts as an inner envelope, where you write
the name of the people invited. This is especially
helpful when inviting (or not inviting) the children
of guests. The Invitation Box is then placed inside
a padded envelope for mailing.
The silk ribbons
come in a montage of colors [VIEW 10]. Let Melissa
know your theme colors and she

Due to the 3D nature of this
design, it is mailed in a white 2 piece box (lid
and bottom). The box is then placed inside a padded
envelope for mailing. The 3D starfish is too fragile
to mail in an envelope, and so the white box is used
- both for presentation and to prevent damage to
the starfish. |

Processing times can be and often are shorter than what is stated above, but shorter times cannot be guaranteed. Kindly plan in advance, as the PEAK ordering time is January through June. NOTE: RUSH orders are not possible at this time. |

Customization of any
invitation design is always possible and welcome.
By adding your own flare you help create an original
work of art your guests will not only talk about,
but keep as mementoes. Customization includes paper
color, font color, actual fonts used, cord color,
starfish color, different design layout etc. |
