| Design Description: |
A White Starfish
with a swaying
raffia Hula Skirt will have your guests saying
"Aloooooooooha" to
your Hawaiian
or South Pacific Destination wedding. Each hula
skirt is hand crafted by Melissa and tied onto
the starfish. White handmade paper with a raised
"wave" design is used as a belly wrap, on top of
a vellum belly wrap.
Strands of natural raffia wrap around the [invite
+ wraps] and the Hula Starfish securing all in
place. All items are letterpress printed.
The invitation arrives to you assembled as
in the photo [VIEW 1].
This is a two layered invitation design, as
the text layer is adhered to a Shimmer Ocean Blue
layer [105# cover
stock], which is slightly larger than the text
layer.
The invitation
itself is letterpress printed on a 110# textured
cover stock which holds letterpress beautifully
[View 4]. The Shimmer Aqua layer helps to "POP"
the cursive Ocean Blue of the text and Starfish
design.
The invitation is assembled with the enclosures
tucked beneath. All are placed inside a White Chrome
(glossy) invitation box, on a layer of
tissue
paper.
The tissue paper is then folded over (much the
way you would gift box wrap a clothing article)].
The lid is added and the box secured closed with
waxed cord and a Guest Tag. Inside
the tag, you write the name(s) of your guest(s).
The tag acts as an inner envelope, where you write
the name of the people invited. This is especially
helpful when inviting (or not inviting) the children
of guests. The Invitation Box is then placed inside
a padded envelope for mailing.
Many color and texture options are available for
the handmade paper belly wraps, as well as for
the shimmer backing layer. Let Melissa know your

Due to the 3D nature of this
design, it is mailed in a white 2 piece box (lid
and bottom). The box is then placed inside a padded
envelope for mailing. The 3D starfish is too fragile
to mail in an envelope, and so the white box is used
- both for presentation and to prevent damage to
the starfish. |

Processing times can be and often are shorter than what is stated above, but shorter times cannot be guaranteed. Kindly plan in advance, as the PEAK ordering time is January through June.

Customization of any
invitation design is always possible and welcome.
By adding your own flare you help create an original
work of art your guests will not only talk about,
but keep as mementoes. Customization includes paper
color, font color, actual fonts used, cord color,
starfish color, different design layout etc. |

AT LEAST TWO DIFFERENT PRINTED CARD TYPES,
