This iinvitation design was actually created in 2003,
but Melissa never officially release it. So,
with the new website going up, Melissa has added
it
officially to the collection! Plumeria flowers
have such a sweet fragrant smell that
is very
hard
to replicate.
They are
typically
worn in Hawaii as a lei. When Melissa
lived in Hawaii she loved to tuck a few behind
her ear, as if you're sporting
plumeria
flowers, there's no need for perfume!
There are many plumeria varieties such as the
singapore and dwarf to name a few. These flowers
are often confused with the frangipani
flower - they are very similar. Plumeria blossoms
can be
[hot
pink
+ yellow], [pale pink],
[white
with yellow centers], [mostly yellow], etc. So
you may want to consider adding some color to the
flowers for YOUR invitation. This design, as shown
above, may be debossed with a shimmer pearl foil
-OR-
blind
letterpress
printed.
With
blind letterpress printing, the design is pressed
into the paper without ink. Since the plumeria
flowers can be white, Melissa though the
blind letterpress appropriate for a
simple, clean image, but again, you
may choose to add ink color.
This design
is available for immediate ordering, and
YES, ink colors
are
customizable, and you may choose to add a backing
layer. Since this is
a BRAND NEW design, the
above image is computer generated, but YOUR
actual invitation WILL BE letterpress printed. |

Customization of any
invitation design is always possible and welcome.
By adding your own flare you help create an original
work of art your guests will not only talk about,
but keep as mementoes. Customization includes paper
color, font color, actual fonts used, cord color,
starfish color, different design layout etc. |

pricing, below, assumes you will be ordering
AT LEAST TWO DIFFERENT PRINTED CARD TYPES,

WHAT

PRICING:
Single layer Invitation with Letterpress printed
design and text + BLANK invitation envelopes. Blind
Letterpress printing for the design is considered "one
press pass" and then the text printing is a second
"press pass", so that is why
this design
is
labeled as a two color design. Pearl foiling the design
will cost slightly more and
restrictions
will apply.

* BACKING LAYER*
By adding a backing layer, you can add fun, dramma,
and/or contrast to your invitation, as the backing
layer is slightly larger than the invite. The $2.25
fee per invite includes a backing cover stock
of your
choice,
the
acid-free
adhesive,
and assembly of the layers.

* INNER ENVELOPES*
Inner
envelopes are $1.00 each. They
are custom converted specifically
for Melissa and are available
with a textured finish in either
white or natural white. Inner
envelopes are ungummed and are
placed inside the mailing envelope.
Inner envelopes are used to communicate
exactly who is invited, especially
when inviting - or not inviting
- young children of guests. Names
only are listed, so for example: "Jessica & Glenn" (informal)
-or- "Mr. & Mrs.
Glenn Walker" (formal).
Do not forget to order extras
to account for addressing mistakes
(and they do happen)!

* GUEST ADDRESSING *
If you would like Melissa to print in-studio your guests
names and/or addresses on the invitation envelope and/or
inner envelope, the fee per envelope is $1.55 USD.
For Guest Addressing envelopes Melissa uses a high
quality inkjet printer, as it is the most cost-effective
method. The font used will match the one on your invitation.

NOTE: Alternatively, please email Melissa
if you would like to have your envelopes hand-written
by a calligrapher, and have not already arranged for
this service on your own.

* COMPLETE ASSEMBLY & MAILING to GUESTS for the
NON-DIY 'er *
Melissa can also completely assemble and mail the invites
to your guests directly from her local US Post Office.
She will add postage to your rsvp card/postcard, in-studio
print your guests names + addresses on the invite envelope,
neatly "stuff" the envelope with all enclosures,
add the invitation envelope postage and then mail.
To assemble and mail to each guest the fee is $2.75
USD per invite.
NOTE: RSVP and invite
mailing postage are NOT included in the
$2.75 USD, nor is the optional inner
envelope or inner envelope Guest Addressing.
