Warm ocean breezes and white sandy beaches will whisper to your guests when presented with this simple beach themed starfish letterpress invitation. Showcased above is a two layered invitation, hand assembled by Melissa. Each is adorned with a transparent vellum wrap (which contains hexagonal pieces of iridescent confetti - very subtle) and a white finger starfish, secured together with a waxed cord tied in a bow.

The invitation is assembled with the enclosures tucked beneath. All are placed inside a white chrome box, on an aqua layer of tissue paper. The tissue paper is then folded over (much the way you would gift box wrap a clothing article). The lid is added and the box secured closed with waxed cord and a tag. Inside the tag, you write the name(s) of your guest(s) - see [VIEW 2]. The tag acts as an inner envelope, where you write the name of the people invited. This is especially helpful when inviting (or not inviting) the children of guests. The white box is then placed inside a padded envelope for mailing.

This is a variation of the Brown Tropical Hoku. Many clients wanted to use bright vivid text and design colors, as opposed to the brown, and so Melissa developed this one to accommodate the bright ocean and beach theme colors such as the corals and aqua's. The dried White Finger Starfish nicely compliments any color.
