The White Mini Shell Invitation is a two layered invitation with hand torn deckled edges [VIEW 5] in which you choose the color and style of the handmade paper wrap [orange shown above]. All items are letterpress printed. The invitation arrives to you assembled as in the photo [VIEW 1]. This invitation is similar to the Glistening Oak Leaf Invitation (same concept).

Both white layers are 110# coverstock with the text letterpress printed. Layer 1 displays the couples names above and below the orange handmade paper wrap, and Layer 2 has the actual invitation wording. Both layers are secured together with the handmade paper wrap. Each individual white shell has two holes hand-drilled by Melissa in order to pass the cord through. It's a bit time consuming to assemble each invite, but the effect is unique. Rather that the shells, you can choose to use pearls, circular capiz shell pieces, or even another type of shell, sand dollar, or sea biscuit.

The invitation is assembled with the enclosures tucked beneath. All are placed inside a White Chroma invitation box, on a layer of tissue paper. The tissue paper is then folded over (much the way you would gift box wrap a clothing article)]. The lid is added and the box secured closed with waxed cord and a Guest Tag. Inside the tag, you write the name(s) of your guest(s). The tag acts as an inner envelope, where you write the name of the people invited. This is especially helpful when inviting (or not inviting) the children of guests. The Invitation Box is then placed inside a padded envelope for mailing.
